OMAI

The cornerstone of our collaboration is to represent our profession as a unified voice and to act as advocates for the members’ common interests to producers, artists, political and governmental authorities, and other organizations in the opera and concert industry.

We recognize the changing nature of the industry, the challenges it brings to our profession as opera managers, and the need to work collaboratively. We strive to create more transparency, build trust, and establish strong, lasting relationships amongst ourselves, with the artists, and with our business partners.

OMAI strives to provide our members with a forum for collaboration that encourages the sharing of information and resources to facilitate the strengthening of our profession as a thriving and vital performing arts business now and into the future.

As part of our core founding principles, OMAI values inclusivity and non-discrimination. We welcome all managers who operate a registered agency to become members of the association and participate in our collaborative work.
